✨ Crispy French Fries Recipe ✨

🧑‍🍳INGREDIENTS:

4 Large Potatoes

3 Cups Chilled Water

2 Tbsp Cornflour (Optional For Extra Crispiness)

Salt (To Taste)

Oil (For Deep Frying)

🍟 METHOD:

Wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into long strips (fries-shaped).

Soak the fries in chilled water for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Drain the fries and pat them dry with a cloth.

You can lightly coat the fries with cornflour to make them extra crispy.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the fries on medium flame for 3–4 minutes, then remove. 

Now fry them again over high heat until golden and crispy.

Remove the fries and place them on tissue paper.

Sprinkle salt on top, and if desired, you can also add chili flakes, oregano, or peri peri masala.

Peri Peri Masala Fries Recipe

 🌶️ For Peri Peri Masala (you can either take ready-made or make it at home):

 1 tsp red chilli powder

 1 tsp paprika (or Kashmiri chilli powder)

 ½ tsp garlic powder

 ½ tsp onion powder

 ½ tsp black salt

 ½ tsp oregano

 ½ tsp roasted cumin powder

 ½ tsp chaat masala

 🧑‍🍳 METHOD:

 Cut potato fries in the same manner and soak in chilled water for 20–30 minutes.

 Dry them with a cloth and coat them with cornflour.

Fry the fries in half over medium heat (3–4 minutes) and remove them.

Fry them again over high heat until golden and crispy.

Drain the fries on tissue paper and immediately place them in a bowl.

Generously sprinkle the peri peri masala over them and toss them to coat evenly.
