INDIAN MILK- BASED SWEET (TWO TONE ROLL MITHAI)

🍬 “WRAPPED IN TWO COLORS, SWEETNESS THAT FITS IN ONE HEART!”

HERE'S A BASIC "ROLL MITHAI" RECIPE THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS PHOTO 👇

🌸 ROLL MITHAI RECIPE (MILK AND MAWA)

 INGREDIENTS:

Khoya Mawa – 1 cup

Milk powder – 1/2 cup

Powdered sugar – 1/3 cup (according to your taste)

Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

A little ghee – 1 tsp

Food coloring – 2 different colors (such as pink and white/green)

Saffron or rose essence – optional

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Roast the Mawa:

Put the mawa in a non-stick pan and roast it over low heat for 4–5 minutes until it becomes soft and smooth.

 Mix milk powder and sugar:

Now combine milk powder and powdered sugar and mix. Turn off the heat once they are well combined.

Dividing the mixture into two parts:

Add different food colors to both parts—you can leave one white and the other pink or green.

Rolling:

Let both mixtures cool slightly. Then roll them out separately into thin layers (using a rolling pin).

Place one layer on top of the other and roll tightly.

Slicing:

Once the roll has set slightly, cut it into thin pieces with a knife after 10-15 minutes.

 Decoration:

Decorate the top with silver varnish, pistachios, or almond slices.

🍬 Result:

You will get spiral rolls like the one in the image—one white and one pink, soft and sweet.
