SPICY RED SAUCE SPAGHETTI – THE PERFECT FAST FOOD DELIGHT!
STREET-STYLE VEG SPAGHETTI PASTA – QUICK & TASTY!
✅ RECIPE: SPAGHETTI RED SAUCE PASTA (VEG)
🟢 INGREDIENT:
For the Pasta:
Spaghetti – 1 cup
Water + Salt – for boiling the pasta
1 tsp Oil
For the Sauce:
Oil or Butter – 2 tbsp
Onion (finely chopped) – 1
Garlic (finely chopped) – 4-5 cloves
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Shimla pepper (red, yellow, or green) – 1/2 cup (slices)
Tomato pieces – 1/2 cup
Salt – according to taste
Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Oregano/Mixed herbs – 1/2 tsp
Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp (optional)
Basil leaves/Tulsi (fresh/dry) – a little
🔴 METHOD:
1️⃣ BOILING PASTA:
Heat water in a pan.
Add a little salt and 1 tsp oil.
Add spaghetti and boil for 7-10 minutes (cook al dente).
Strain and add cold water until it doesn't stick.
2️⃣ PREPARE THE SAUCE:
Heat oil or butter in a pan.
Fry the garlic and onion until lightly golden.
Add the capsicum and tomato pieces and fry for 2 minutes.
3️⃣ SPICE & SAUCE MIX:
Now add the tomato puree.
Mix together the salt, black pepper, chili flakes, oregano, and ketchup.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
4️⃣ PASTA MIX:
Add the boiled spaghetti sauce.
Toss well.
Add the basil leaves or basil and mix.
✅ SERVE:
Spoon the hot pasta onto a plate or bowl. You can also top it with basil, parsley, or cheese.
