RESTAURANT-STYLE HONEY CHILLI POTATO IN JUST 15 MINUTES
HERE IS A SIMPLE AND TASTY RECIPE OF HONEY CHILLI POTATO.
🍯🌶️HONEY CHILLI POTATO RECIPE
🟢 INGREDIENTS:
🔹For frying potatoes:
3–4 Medium aloo (cut in finger/tikka style)
2 Tbsp cornflour (makai ka atta) 2 tbsp flour
Name as per taste
A little water (for coating)
Tel – for frying
🔹For sauce:
1 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 Tsp finely chopped ginger (optional)
2 Chopped green chillies
1 Small onion (sliced) – optional
1 Small capsicum (sliced) – optional
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp red chilli sauce
1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
1 Tbsp vinegar
1–1.5 Tbsp Honey
1 Tsp chili flakes
1 Tsp black pepper
Salt flavor (as per taste)
🔹 Garnish:
Sesame seeds (sesame seeds)
Spring onion (green onion)
✅ Recipe Steps (How to Make):
🔸 1. Fry the Potatoes
Soak the potato strips in cold water for 10–15 minutes.
Drain the water and let them dry.
Mix cornflour, flour, salt, and a little water to form a coating.
Coat the potato strips in it.
Heat the oil and fry them until crispy golden brown.
🔸 2. Prepare the Sauce
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Fry garlic, ginger, and green chilies in it.
(If desired, lightly saute the onion/capsicum as well.)
Now add the soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, and vinegar.
Add a little salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
Add 2-3 tbsp water and let it boil lightly.
Finally, add honey and mix (low heat).
🔸 3. Mix and Serve
Dip the fried potatoes into the sauce and coat them well.
Turn off the heat.
Top with sesame seeds and spring onion.
