STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS: (for 12 cupcake)

All-purpose flour-11/2 cups

Baking powder-11/2 tsp

Baking soda-1/4 tsp

Salt-1/4 tsp

Butter(Room temperature) -1/2 cup (100g)

Sugar(Powdered)-1cup

Eggs-2

Vanilla essence-1 tsp

Milk-1/2 cup

METHOD:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  1. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar for 3-4 minutes untill light and fluffy.
  1. Add the eggs one at a time and beat.
  1. Mix in the vanilla essence.
  1. Now add the dry ingredients a little at a time and alternate mixing with the milk.
  1. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners(fill only 2/3)
  1. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  1. Leet cool.

STRAWBERRY FROSTING(PICTURED) INGREDIENTS:

Butter(unsalted, room temperature)-1/2 cup (100g).

powdered sugar -2 cups.

Strawberry puree/jam-2 tbsp.

Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp.

METHOOD:

  1. Beat the butter for 3-4 minutes untill white and fluffy.
  1. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time and continue beating.
  1. Add the strawberry puree/jam and vanilla essence to from a smooth frosting.
  1. Fill with a piping bag and decorate the cupcake with designs.
